How Water-Fed Pole Window Cleaning Works
We mostly use water-fed poles on buildings up to six storeys, which includes houses and townhomes.
- The water first runs through a four-stage filter. It takes out the dissolved solids, down to 0 ppm (parts per million), so nothing is left to dry as spots.
- We scrub the glass with the brush on the end of the pole, then rinse it with the same pure water.
- The glass dries clear and streak-free.
Less often, we use a ladder and a squeegee.
How Often Should House Windows Be Cleaned?
We recommend at least two cleanings a year for a house, one in spring and one in fall. That keeps the view clear and the windows in good condition. Clean glass also lets in more daylight.
In Toronto, road salt, construction dust and pollen build up on your windows. Glass industry guidance says not to leave dirt and residue on glass for long. Regular cleaning stops the build-up, and we can set up a schedule for your home.
