Houses and apartment buildings each make up a large share of Scarborough. The City of Toronto’s 2021 Census profile counts about 218,900 households in the area. Single-detached houses were home to 81,510, and apartment buildings of 5 storeys or more to 76,975. We cover both below, and stores and restaurants too.

House windows are mostly a job for the water-fed pole. Now and then, we use a ladder and a squeegee instead.
On townhomes and other buildings of up to 6 storeys, we mostly use water-fed poles. In condos and tight spaces, we clean the glass by hand.
From 7 storeys, the method changes to rope access and bosun chairs (seats that hang from a rope). We have a separate page on high-rise window cleaning.
We clean store and restaurant windows and plan the work to keep disruption low. Storefronts usually need more frequent cleaning, so we can set up a regular schedule.
For homes, we also do the inside of the windows, the screens and the tracks on request. For glass after construction, which we usually clean by hand, see our post-construction cleaning services.
The water first runs through a four-stage filter. It takes out the dissolved solids, down to 0 ppm (parts per million), so nothing is left to dry as spots. We scrub the glass with the brush on the end of the pole and rinse it with the same pure water.
Outwash has over 15 years of experience, so we know which method suits which building. For more, see our main page on window cleaning services in Toronto.

We also serve Pickering, Markham, North York, East York and other parts of the GTA. Choose a place to see its window cleaning page.
