More than half of the homes in Markham are single-detached houses. York Region’s 2021 Census report puts the number at 62,290 out of 110,870 homes. It also counts 15,985 townhomes and 19,540 homes in apartment buildings. Here is how we clean each one.
For house windows, our main tool is the water-fed pole. Sometimes the job calls for a ladder and a squeegee instead.
On a townhome, we mostly use the water-fed pole too. In tight spaces, we clean the glass by hand with squeegees.
Up to 6 storeys, we mostly use water-fed poles. Higher than that, we use rope access and bosun chairs (seats that hang from a rope). See our page on high-rise window cleaning.
Office and store windows are part of our work too. If a storefront needs more frequent cleaning, we can set up a regular schedule.
Glass after construction is a job of its own. See our post-construction cleaning services.
The water first runs through a four-stage filter. It takes out the dissolved solids, down to 0 ppm (parts per million), so nothing is left to dry as spots. We scrub the glass with the brush on the end of the pole and rinse it with the same pure water.
Outwash has over 15 years of experience, so we know which method suits which building. For more, see our main page on window cleaning services in Toronto.
