In the ward of Spadina-Fort York, 88% of households lived in apartment buildings of 5 storeys or more. In Toronto Centre the share was 85%, and in University-Rosedale 51%. Buildings of 7 storeys and up are high-rise work. Our SPRAT or IRATA certified technicians clean them with rope access and bosun chairs (seats that hang from a rope).
For offices, we clean the lobby glass and the interior partitions as well as the outside glass. We bring boom lifts or swing stages where a job needs them.
We clean storefront and restaurant windows, and we can set up a regular schedule. Clean glass shows customers that a building is looked after.
Up to 6 storeys, we mostly use water-fed poles with four-stage filtered water. That covers low-rise condos, townhomes and houses.
For homes, we also clean the inside glass, the screens and the tracks on request. There is more about towers on our high-rise window cleaning page.
The water first runs through a four-stage filter. It takes out the dissolved solids, down to 0 ppm (parts per million), so nothing is left to dry as spots. We scrub the glass with the brush on the end of the pole and rinse it with the same pure water.
Outwash has over 15 years of experience, so we know which method suits which building. For more, see our main page on window cleaning services in Toronto.
