Condo and Apartment Towers
Once a building reaches 7 storeys, we use rope access and bosun chairs (seats that hang from a rope). Some jobs call for boom lifts or swing stages.
Office Buildings
In an office building, we clean the outside glass, the lobby glass and the interior partitions. We plan the work to keep disruption to your business low.
Low-Rise Buildings
From 1 to 6 storeys, we mostly work with water-fed poles and, less often, with a ladder and a squeegee.
Houses
On a house, we mostly use a water-fed pole as well. Inside glass, screens and tracks are extras that we clean on request.
We also clean glass after construction. Our post-construction cleaning services have a page of their own.
How a Water-Fed Pole Works
The water first runs through a four-stage filter. It takes out the dissolved solids, down to 0 ppm (parts per million), so nothing is left to dry as spots. We scrub the glass with the brush on the end of the pole and rinse it with the same pure water.
Outwash has over 15 years of experience, so we know which method suits which building. For more, see our main page on window cleaning services in Toronto.
