Mississauga has a lot of houses and a lot of apartment buildings. The 2021 Census counted 244,575 households in the city. About 90,700 lived in single-detached houses, and about 66,800 lived in apartment buildings of 5 storeys or more. We clean the windows of both, and what we use depends on the building.
In most cases, we wash the outside glass with a water-fed pole. On request, we also clean the inside glass, the screens and the tracks.
On buildings up to 6 storeys, we mostly use water-fed poles. From 7 storeys up, we use rope access and bosun chairs (seats that hang from a rope). Read about our high-rise window cleaning.
We clean the outside glass, lobby glass and interior partitions. We plan the work to keep disruption to your business low.
We usually clean the glass by hand, with a scraper and a squeegee. Read about our post-construction cleaning services.
The water first runs through a four-stage filter. It takes out the dissolved solids, down to 0 ppm (parts per million), so nothing is left to dry as spots. We scrub the glass with the brush on the end of the pole and rinse it with the same pure water.
Outwash has over 15 years of experience, so we know which method suits which building. For more, see our main page on window cleaning services in Toronto.
